ALFI Solid Surface Resin Soaking Bathtub

Solid surface resin is the material high-end bathrooms have been moving toward for a decade, and the reason is simple: it feels better. Warmer than acrylic under your back, denser, and matte all the way through rather than coated.

That last part matters more than it sounds. Because the finish is the material and not a layer on top of it, a scratch or a scuff can be sanded away with extra-fine paper and the tub looks new again. Acrylic doesn't forgive that way.

This page covers the range. Ovals for softness, rectangles for rooms that want a stronger line, and a pedestal model that lifts the whole form off the floor. The two-tone pieces — matte black outside, matte white within — are the ones people stop at.

Every tub here has a built-in overflow and a concealed pop-up drain matched to the finish. None has pre-drilled faucet holes, so plan on a floor or wall mounted filler. All are certified to the Uniform Plumbing Code.
